This Technology Technician position will perform the Installation and troubleshooting of Low Voltage Network Infrastructure wiring.
This position is responsible for supporting and troubleshooting educational technology at the school and district level. The Technology Technician's role is to provide a single point of contact for end-users to receives support and maintenance within the organization's desktop computing environment. This includes installing,
diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance. The person will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, Remote Access, or via e-mail) in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform New Data, Voice, Fiber Optic and Intercom cabling installations.
Work involves driving a company vehicle; using hand tools; Climbing ladders.
Perform Customer Instruction on Intercom System Operation and Functionality.
Perform System Testing and Signal Verification.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures; and reports all accidents, hazards, and equipment problems.
Attend and participate in various meetings within the company.
Perform other duties as assigned.
