Jonesville Animal Hospital is a privately owned, Fear Free certified small animal practice located in Newberry, Florida, just a few miles down the road from The University of Florida. Our 4-doctor small animal hospital specializes in providing high quality, compassionate, and convenient care for our patients. As a fear Free certified practice, we emphasize the emotional and physical well being of our patients. We recognize the importance of the human-animal bond and we see our clients and patients as extended family. We offer a complete array of services including medicine, surgery, dentistry, wellness and specialist care, bathing, ultrasound, and laser therapy. Our doctors are committed to offering the latest and greatest in veterinary diagnostics and therapeutics. Exceptional client service and professional client communication is emphasized in all positions.

The Veterinary Technician is responsible for Fear Free animal restraint, patient care, client communication and education, collecting and testing lab samples, administering immunizations, preparing prescriptions, and assisting doctors with exams and outpatient treatments

Qualified candidates are excellent communicators and multi-taskers, work well independently and as part of a team, are detail oriented, and embrace low stress handling methods and Fear Free principles. At least one year of veterinary experience is preferred. Experience with Avimark software is ideal. Some holiday and weekend availability is required.
