Job Description: The Supply Technician oversees the GCSS- Army system in providing centralized master data management focused on property book, supply operations, tactical maintenance, logistics management and associated tactical finance functionality of the unit and the U.S. ARMY
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Completing Special Operations Forces, Sustainment, Asset Visibility Information Exchange (SSAVIE) shipping and receiving reports.
- Coordinating all GCSS-Army reports for the group (army Common) equipment that must be logged into the GCSS-Army.
- Personnel will be trained and knowledgeable of GCSS-Army terminology/ operating procedures.
- Support will consist of submission of Enterprise Data Management Office (EDMO) files to Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW); correcting Maintenance Errors identified from EDMO scorecard analysis; error corrections requires synchronization with assigned Supply Representative for Serial Number Mismatch.
- Conducting Shop Stock Listing (SSL) inventories on a Quarterly Basis (90 Days); aligning SSL to storage locations; requisitions pick-up and turn-in of SSL from the assigned Supply Support Activity (SSA); notifying maintenance managers of 02 Priority SSL required to repair Non-Mission Capable (NMC) Equipment upon receipt of parts.
- Updating equipment usage within GCSS-Army to reflect actual equipment usage annotated with miles per hours.
- Assisting the customer in training Battalion GCSS-A clerks.
- Ensuring that all Army Material Status System (AMSS) reports are verified prior to submission.
- Requesting Logistics Assistance Representative (LARs) assistance on expediting long lead-time parts.
- Acting as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on a variety of topics and functions, including (but not limited to) conducting property scrub between: Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), and the Maintenance Master Data File (MMDF) (referred to as the Property Book Scrub); conducting property scrub between: GCSS-Army and Technical Bulletin (TB) 43-180 (referred to as the Calibration Scrub); Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW) registration cards (2408-9s); Contract No. H92254-17-D-0001 Use or disclosure of data contained on this sheet is subject to the restriction on the title page of this document. 5 Maintenance Management Information System (MMIS) Modification Work Order (MWO message traffic); Webcats round count cards (2408-4s); and Integrated Logistics Analysis Program (ILAP) (online review of 026 report).
- Identifying current and projected repair parts requirements.
- Coordinating with the customer to direct lateral redistribution of stock
- Assisting Government personnel with inspection of activities/organizations to ensure compliance with standards of serviceability, reclamation, salvage, and disposal procedures.
- Analyzing operations, statistical data, and reports to ascertain functional trends, conformance to standards and directives, and efficiency of operations.
- Performing maintenance resupply activities and material support functions in stock control and accounting, procurement, inventory control and item financial management.
- Coordinating with the customer in the development and preparation of Standard Army Management Information System (STAMIS) information related to maintenance supply and operations. Emplace and operate Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT).
- Assisting Government personnel with analyzing reports on supply and service support operations.
- GCSS-Army Equipment Repair Parts Specialist (ERPS) are required to open work orders requests for multiple work centers; account for man-hours utilized during equipment maintenance; requisition of SSL and repair parts from the SSA; reconciliation of Document Control Register to monitor logistics; interpretation of Equipment Status Report (ESR); equipment dispatch/return, and fuel accountability requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- GCSS-Army web-based training certified.
- Have a working knowledge of/familiarity with property accountability within GCSS-Army.
- Possess knowledge of/experience with LIW/WEBTAADS/WEBLOG/WEBLIDB
- Possess GCSS-Army knowledge and qualified within the last three (3) years and written or verbally tested by the contractor prior to be hired.
