Job description

Oklahoma City Indian Clinic (OKCIC) is a non profit corporation that provides culturally sensitive health care to the American Indian population. OKCIC services not only include basic medical care, but also dental, optometry, behavioral health services, fitness, nutrition and other family programs.

Oklahoma City Indian Clinic is looking for a diligent Supply Coordinator to join our team and coordinate the inventory of the clinic.. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, highly motivated, flexible team player, and readily adapting to a quick-paced environment.

Some essential duties to include:

  • Ordering of supplies
  • Assembly of equipment
  • Procure purchase orders and quotes
  • Distributing supplies once they arrive to correct supply room
  • Maintain expiration dates
  • Manage supplies in all supply rooms
  • Support supply chain management to apply the just-in-time methodology or system
  • Oversees appropriate par levels
  • Practice being fiscally responsible by conducting inventory assessments and routine quality assurance checks to ensure supplies that are dispensed are being billed.
  • Control over PPE management and calculation of burn rates
  • Follow and apply Lean Principles
  • Explore smart supply management technologies

  • Must align with OKCIC mission, vision and core values.

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 2+ years of medical office experience specifically working with supply ordering/inventory management

  • Strong knowledge and application with Microsoft Office & Excel, and Google Docs & Sheets

  • Strong computer and technology skills and applications

  • Recent experience in distribution or shipping/receiving preferred
