Regional Unit Leader – Responsible for setting the direction for the SCO Regional Site Unit via the annual-mid-term business plan, matching the Business Unit and Company business plans, then rotating PDCA Daily-Weekly-Monthly-Quarterly. Area of responsibility includes.
Effectively leading their unit by talent acquisition, associate development, leadership development, associate retention, budget control, loss elimination & manpower control.
Lead the local site Unit Leaders related to planning, business plan development & reporting, KPI development and reporting, ISO and organizational development.
- Clearly, concisely, and proactively communicate company and department strategy and direction
- Ensure and approve unit level business plan, implementation, & management via PDCA
- Develop, approve & implement annual and reforecast budget. Responsible to all Unit Level budgetary gaps.
- Create and Lead L6/7 BP Theme Activity
- Give direction / support the areas of the Unit (Technical, Operations, Inventory)
- Interface and coordinate related activities with other areas including the 3PL, Local site UL’s, SCO Regional and SCM Dept’s.
- Continue to lead and support the evolution of the new organization through enhanced RASICs
- Ensure compliance with Global Honda Quality Standards
- Ad hoc reporting – BP, Trouble or Other in Company and Department or BU Level Meetings
- Develop and manage manpower allocation for Regional Site Unit
- Develop capability of self, colleagues, and team through training, mentoring, and sharing of experiences in the area of technical expertise and understanding for succession planning and team growth
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Minimum Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain, Engineering, or Purchasing) or equivalent experience (per minimum experience)
Minimum Experience
- 8+ Years of experience in one of the following areas: (or combination)
- Supply Chain Management / Mfg. / Logistics / Procurement
