As our Supply Chain, Operations Manageryou will hold a pivotal leadership role within JBT Customer Care, responsible for managing the overall parts Supply Chain across the diverse North America DF&H businesses.
This position will provide strategic and transformational leadership for DF&H North American Supply Chain at JBT by bringing a strong focus on continuous improvement mindset to parts purchasing and inventory management and creating consistent high standards in process and procedures that the organization can build upon to deliver world class service to our customers.
You will report directly to the Vice President & General Manager, Customer Care of DF&H North America.
Qualifications
On a given day, you might find yourself:
- Providing daily oversight and direction of all NA DF&H Customer Care Aftermarket Parts across the diverse business units.
- Creating Supply Chain strategies to meet and exceed customer expectations for parts delivery and availability while insuring JBT receives the best price.
- Managing the supplier relationship by tracking and communicating supplier performance and quality across all business in North America and MCCA.
- Developing and implement Supply Chain metrics to track and report improvements to key leading indicators that drive margin optimization.
- Incorporate inventory management tools that achieve JBT’s standards of availability of parts against our mission to reduce slow moving parts stock levels.
- Developing and executing growth strategies for aftermarket parts, including expansion of parts offerings, service level agreements for OTD, and more.
- Assessing market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
- Working with the CC Product Line Director, Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and threats, guiding business development efforts.
The Challenge

- Lead and develop a high-performing team of Supply Chain professionals, setting performance standards and goals, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a culture of Supply Chain excellence and continuous improvement.
- Foster collaboration and synergy across departments and business units, ensuring a cohesive approach to aftermarket parts and customer engagement.
- Apply JBT Supply Chain methodology across all BU aftermarket parts inventory, driving stocking levels according to the runners and repeaters and lowering stranger stock.
- Position the company's products and services competitively within the marketplace.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and drive continuous improvement
Here is how you can standout:
- Assess existing and future requirements of the DF&H business in determining the optimal logistic strategy (and warehousing requirements and location).
- Work with corporate Supply Chain leaders to develop business processes in purchasing and negotiation with vendors to provide JBT with best pricing and optimize number of vendors.
- Exceed key customer facing service levels at JBT such as Ontime Deliver (OTD).
- Understanding of JDE ERP system.
- Knowledge of JBT products and business processes.

- Location: This position is remote.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree (Supply Chain or Business preferred - MBA is a plus).
