Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team. The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Supply Chain, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and contract manufacturing for our Multimin platform in the US and Latam. This role plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective flow of veterinary pharmaceutical products from suppliers to customers while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards. This position will Report to the Head of Global Manufacturing and Supply for the Multimin platform based in Ireland.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Oversee inventory management, procurement, and distribution of veterinary pharmaceuticals and related supplies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and negotiate favourable terms.
- Forecast demand for veterinary pharmaceutical products and raw materials based on market trends and sales forecasts.
- Coordinate transportation and distribution of products to various distribution centres, clinics, and customers.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards throughout the Supply Chain.
- Manage contract manufacturing relationships, including selection, negotiation, and oversight of CMOs.
- Identify and mitigate risks to the Supply Chain, such as disruptions in supply or quality issues.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, sales, marketing, and finance, to align Supply Chain activities with business goals.
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
- General Supply Chain administration as required.
- Ensure all Dangerous Goods shipments are correctly classified, have the correct documentation, and that the route solution is appropriately designed.
Requirements
- 3rd Level qualification in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, procurement, logistics, and contract manufacturing.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with regulatory compliance requirements, such as GMP and HACCP.
- Proficiency in Supply Chain management software and ERP systems.
- Certification in Supply Chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is a plus.
- IT Proficient, MS Office essential.
- Fluency in Portuguese is a distinct advantage.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
