Position Summary:
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for providing leadership to the Consumables Supply Chain Team, which contributes to the organization's efforts to service customers through effectively delivering products in an efficient, cost effective, reliable and customer friendly manner. Working with extended leadership team, marketing, inventory control, warehousing, logistics, and customer operations. Working closely with other functions, including Sales, to drive overall consumables Supply Chain efficiency and customer service; managing, coaching, training, and motivating associates in order to continue to grow an already premier, customer focused Supply Chain.

• Ability to travel 1-3 times per year
• Management skills including coaching, training, and motivating
• Understands Supply Chain concepts and maintains knowledge of current market trends

Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?

• Accurately controls inventory levels by executing SIOP processes
• Develop and maintain a service-oriented culture and a learning environment that values constant improvement, open communication and proactiveness within the organization
• Assist, eliminate barriers, and provide coaching to associates to enable them to meet their own and organizational goals and objectives
• Provide direction to drive the organization to achieve its goals and participate in regular staff meetings to discuss project updates and report on goal attainment
• Visit with both vendors and customers to establish a collaborative relationship that will allow us to better service the need of our customers and grow our business
• Meets with manufacturers to review items, sales, and vendor policies. A twice annual meeting should be held with the Director, Supply Chain and all of the key vendors on Benco's vendor scorecard

Do YOU Meet These Requirements?

• 4-6 years of Supply Chain/Logistics plus management experience
• 4-6 years of Supply Chain, Inventory Planning and Vendor Management experience
