This role is for a Supply ChainSr. Analyst (App Support Lead) for PBNA Supply Chain-Manufacturing. This role’s key accountability is to shape business demand for IT products and services, coordinate solution formulation from idea through project initiation, and ensure the intended business value of ideas is documented, measured and realized.

This position will support the following business functions within the PBNA Supply Chain organization: Manufacturing, Quality, Health/Safety/Environmental (HSE), Plant Maintenance, and Engineering.

 

The Key areas will include:

Cyber Security

Firewall / Network Infrastructure

Mobile Devices

Vendor Management

Application Onboarding (i.e. ISA)

 

Scope Measures:

This role will be accountable for supporting Supply Chain Manufacturing and Quality investment projects, variety of business requests and tasks related with stability of production operations. The scope will include working closely with Business leaders and technical teams to support the evaluation of systems, provide priority and urgency to key business requests, deliver custom and out of the box third party software, support, and optimize the portfolio of existing Legacy systems.


Responsibilities
  • Assist as a principle information technology adviser for business function leadership to shape business demand, stimulate innovation ideas, define scope and requirements for new ideas, obtain estimates of required funding, develop proposals and business cases, position proposals for IT funding, and escalate support issues within IT as necessary.
  • Assist business function leadership and IT CIO Leadership in defining and aligning IT strategy, IT Annual Operating Plans, and potential off-cycle investment plans to support PBNA Supply Chain business initiatives and requirements.
  • Assist and help orchestrate the activities of other PepsiCo IT teams (Development & Delivery, Enterprise Architecture, Data & Analytics) to ensure business requirements are understood, and that the right IT resources are engaged to support business functions.
  • Support overall Agile project planning methodology for investment projects in partnership with onshore and offshore support teams to gain productivity and efficiency service improvements in our application portfolio
  • Support communications with Product Managers and business stakeholders, escalate impediments and manage all product & project risks with greater independence from upper management.
  • Assist with solution delivery with greater attention and oversight using transformational process steps and increased Operations team engagement with the key goal to keep Production Stability a priority overall
  • Collaborate with integrated IT teams (Network, Infrastructure, ISG etc) with the key goal to keep Production Stability and application Security a priority overall.
  • Manage the technical requirements and design of all processes of a specific project involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing product(s).
  • Determine ways to streamline internal PBNA Supply Chain operations, while overseeing business change requests
  • Partner closely with external vendors, including onshore and offshore resources.
  • Work closely with Business and IT partners to identify and resolve application issues, escalating as required

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $68,000 - $ 113,850 based on a full-time schedule
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications

Years of Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in information technology
  • 5+ years project management and delivery experience
  • 1+ years solid comprehension of Lean-Agile frameworks, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • 1+ years Agile product strategic thinking, analysis and development
  • 1+ years of People Management and Team Building
  • 3+ years Project Management experience
  • 3+ years Technical Solutions architecture overview and understanding

Mandatory Non Technical Experience:

  • Demonstrated track record of creating technology solutions to solve business problems
  • Highly skilled at project planning, creating business requirements documents, use cases, user acceptance test plans, process flow and data flow diagrams
  • Strong collaboration, teamwork and relationship building skills across multiple levels and functions in the organization
  • Ability to listen, build rapport, and credibility as a strategic partner
  • Ability to set expectations with business partners and effectively leverage governance for a positive business partner experience
  • Strong communication skills in writing, speaking, and presenting
  • An exceptional listener, able to comprehend what is said and probe for important details
  • Able to communicate technical or complex subject matter in business terms
  • Highly self-motivated

  • Understands and keeps abreast of IT industry - emerging technologies and trends, industry standards and vendor landscape

Mandatory Technical Skills

  • Experience managing software development projects through the full project lifecycle, from initiation through implementation
  • Experience supporting SW applications after implementation, including - break/fix activities, enhancements, SLA’s and metrics, vendor management, off-shoring/outsourcing
  • Familiarity with infrastructure networks and firewalls
  • Database SQL experience a plus
  • Producing network/architecture diagrams

  • Capability to manage multiple vendor relationships to ensure effective design, delivery, and governance of the program
  • Ability to translate complex technical topics / issues to non-technical Business partners & stakeholders
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with ability to cater messages to audience including all levels of the organization and form working relationships with technical teams, Enterprise architects, product managers, business owners, and executives
  • Knowledge and experience of Cloud solutions architecture, infrastructure development, deployment, and operational support
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills bringing together multiple functions and team members to solve critical issues.
  • Skilled at conflict resolution and problem-solving to achieve win-win outcomes
  • An outside-in focus: outstanding end-customer relationship skills
