Key Accountabilities
- Support the operations team in various tasks, including coordinating with different departments, managing schedules, and ensuring smooth workflow.
- Evaluate quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Maintains and analyzes inventory levels and makes recommendations.
- Analyze existing operations and propose innovative ideas to streamline procedures and reduce costs.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to operations. Generate reports and presentations summarizing key findings to assist in decision-making processes.
- Assist in project planning and labor cost and resource allocation.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to operations, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with key leader and teams to facilitate effective communication, resolve operational issues, and ensure alignment across departments.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Currently pursuing a major in business - Supply Chain preferred
- Must have at least a junior standing, a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 or above
- Able to work 40 hours per week during the summer
- Efficient and detail-oriented
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
- Available May -August 2024
