SalarySupervising and ensuring efficient shipping, customs clearance, and delivery of shipments to final destination. Taking care of the correct document handling and timely informing about deviations in the delivery schedule.
– Assist Global Supply Chain team with shipping and customs brokers, transportation carriers, truck and rail, warehouses, and freight forwarders
– Coordination with production planning and customer service for booking of containers for import-export orders
– Timely providing and monitoring of relevant and correct documentation
– Coordinate shipping with customs agents for smooth clearance
– Coordinate service agreement with customs agents
– Knowledge about trade agreements and import requirements/restrictions
– Knowledge and use of correct Incoterms
– Track-trace shipments and communicate with shipping lines on transit time and delivery date
– Registering and keeping up-to-date container shipment view with all relevant data
– Monitor performance on delivery times
