We are currently seeking Supply Chain Analysts who are responsible for both the forecasting and purchasing for their respective product category and/or customer base. They will work closely with both commercial and sales in developing demand plans in accordance with trends that drive sales, minimize excess inventory, and meet financial targets. Additionally, they will be responsible for securing needed inventory to support demand plans from our suppliers in accordance with inventory and working capital targets.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the Supply/Demand Review in monthly sales and operations cycle
- Prepare and present the demand scorecard
- Review the rolling 12-month demand plans and evaluate vs financial targets
- Evaluate results of excess and/or slow-moving inventory sell-off identified at previous month Supply Review
- Identify and mitigate existing service or financial risks to demand plan
- Confirm new products and those at end-of-life
- Work with the product management and commercial teams to understand the product range, financial targets and sales strategies
- Develop A/B/C product approach to manage risk and optimize effort
- Measure and report on forecast/inventory performance
- Review in-season sales compared to forecasts/orders and make updates based on trend and sales input
- Update the forecasting tool with all forecast changes and average selling prices
- Communicate forecast changes, supply constraints and related context to planning and marketing teams
This role requires a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field and 2-4 years of prior experience in a customer service, demand/supply planner, analyst or similar role.
Other qualifications include:
- Strong analytical skills; proven ability to analyze data and make updates/recommendations based on analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, IFERROR formulas, conditional formatting, PIVOT tables, etc.)
- Detail oriented; excellent ability to plan and organize so that work is completed efficiently; ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other functional areas
- SAP experience preferred
