- Support Prototype builds at GO ADC / RO ADC with problem analysis and prevention activities.
- Resolve complex part issues impacting assembly and test.
- Find temporary solutions to issues when essential to sustain safety, quality, and delivery.
- Document each defect or issue as needed and issue trouble reports as necessary.
- Provide feedback concerning quality issues to the appropriate and or responsible party.
- Act as the liaison to HDMA ADC for prototype related quality issue internally and externally.
- Communicate with suppliers, design, buyers, and different Honda Plants to appropriately support problem investigation & resolution.
- Work with responsible departments/suppliers to facilitate appropriate problem containment.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial)
- 0 years of experience based on education; no degree requires 4 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Engineering, and Design/Development (SED) flow.
- Prioritization skills drives continuous improvement, good interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook), CATIA
- SAP system general knowledge.
- Ability to technically investigate, derive conclusions from observations/data and analytically approach problem cause phenomena.
- Varied work environment (office, workshop, and warehouse)
- Overtime when required.
- Ability to travel on short notice both domestically and internationally.
- Disposition to travel on short notice to address quality issues at suppliers or other Honda facilities.
