Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 per year
Our client, a global manufacturing company, is seeking a SQA Rep to join its growing global team.
Responsibilities:
1. Conducting regular audits of suppliers to ensure compliance with the AS9100 standard and any other relevant quality standards.
2. Training suppliers on best practices, Quality Assurance processes, and compliance requirements.
3. Monitoring supplier performance and providing feedback to improve quality and efficiency.
4. Collaborating with procurement and engineering teams to establish quality requirements for external suppliers.
5. Investigating and resolving Supplier Quality issues, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
6. Reviewing supplier manufacturing processes, collaborate on process improvement and value enhancement opportunities.
7. Preparing reports on supplier performance and quality for review by company leadership.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Supplier Quality Assurance in the engineering industry.
3. Solid understanding and experience with the AS9100 standard.
4. Proven experience in conducting audits and training suppliers.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
7. Proficiency in using Quality Assurance software and other related tools.
8. Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) will be an added advantage.
