Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re a Supplier Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for you. This individual will be responsible for identifying, developing and managing supply base with suppliers to meet Quality, Delivery, Responsiveness and Cost metrics.

What you will be doing
- Manage supplier performance to QDRC metrics as they relate to Purchasing goals.
- Using supplier metrics, identify areas of concern and drive corrective action around QDRC
- Ability to understand commodity strategies
- Travels to assigned suppliers as necessary (domestic and international)
- Supports Engineering Change (E/C) activities with supply base, including tracking upcoming E/Cs, ordering and processing Supplier PPAPs and managing issues with suppliers
- Participates in and manage supplier performance reviews and improvement activities
What We Are Looking For
- BA/BS in Materials and/or Operations management, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Hands-on expertise in purchasing (buyer, purchasing, etc.) with experience in multiple procurement categories (I.e. electronics, castings, etc.) preferred
- Experience with supplier performance improvement projects and activities
