Job Description
The Supplemental Instruction (SI) Assistant reports to the Supplemental Instruction (SI) Coordinator and the CLAC Managing Director.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist the SI Coordinator in implementing and monitoring the SI program in relation to SI courses
Collaborate with CLAC staff members and the designated team on promotional ideas and other support services
Co-coordinate and conduct SI Leader training along with the designated CLAC personnel
Assist in the planning of group meetings of SI Leaders
Assist in the collection and analysis of all data associated with the SI program (e.g., SI attendance, grades, surveys, handouts generated by the SI Leader)
Ensure that appropriate resources are always available for SI Leaders, such as SI surveys and planning sheets
Assist in the observation of SI sessions, and SI Leaders debrief sessions as specified in the SI model
Assist with payroll
Other duties as assigned by the SI Coordinator
SI ASSISTANT REQUIREMENTS:
Submit a completed application (Google Form)
Must have at least an Associate’s Degree/Bachelor’s
Provide a resume and three references prior interview
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to work some evenings
Able to multitask and work with a diverse population
Able to relate to students, tutors, and faculty
Knowledgeable about reporting procedures and experience with web-based scheduling software (e.g., TracCloud)
Possess intermediate-expert proficiency in the use of Google Workspace, including Gmail, Docs, and Sheets as well as internet research
Hourly rate is $23
