This position is located at US Mint,Philadelphia Mint. As a/an SUPERVISORY INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, you will be responsible for the receipt, custody, and shipment of finished domestic and foreign coins and bullion; receipt, handling, and custody of cash assets; receipt, custody, and shipment of coinage coils and Philadelphia Mint supplies and equipment.
For the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Coordinating procurement processes, asset management, logistics and INVENTORY MANAGEMENT; AND
- Writing inventory reports and maintaining logistical records; AND
- Conducting studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of programs; AND
- Providing recommendations on inventory levels and practices pertaining to INVENTORY MANAGEMENT.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
