Position Summary
The Supervisor will oversee material management resource functions including acquisition, distribution and inventory maintenance for the Main Operating Room. You will supervise OR Materials Inventory Specialist personnel and perform as a facilitator for the supply chain continuum.
As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day to day supply and distribution of material resources, procurement of special equipment needs, processing and tracking service contracts, processing capital requisitions, planning, coordinating and completing year-end inventory for the Main OR. Responsible for implementing recall of items within the unit and documenting and maintaining accurate records of recalled items and for maintaining records of repairs/maintenance of equipment.
Enforces compliance with vendor policy and procedures. Contributes to policy development for materials issues and job scope of personnel supervised.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Three to four years related experiences
Other Information
- 40 hours a week
- Monday - Friday (2 pm - 11 pm)
- Required to work some weekends
