Position Summary:
Reports to Director of Hotel Operations. Supervises and communicates the operational activities of the following departments by providing multi-hotel leadership at each of the Pelham Hospitality locations, including Housekeeping & Laundry, Valet, Shuttle (Guest and Employee), Event Setup and Hotel Support while ensuring successful execution of the Pelham Hospitality vision and overall business strategy.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: In partnership with Director of Hotel Operations-
- The Supervisor of Hotel Operations is responsible for continuous improvement in service standards and property wide operational execution.
- Maintains standards of guest service/cleanliness/organization/property appearance
- Maintains effective communication with all Pelham Hospitality Departments including communicating regularly and proactively with the Director of Hotel Operations
- Promote a positive work environment and maintain exemplary morale as a member of the Pelham Hospitality Leadership Team.
All other duties as assigned.
Team Member Management:
- Mentors and motivates direct reports to manage their current responsibilities effectively and efficiently.
· Support and encourage professional career development within staff and promote growth opportunities.
· Ensure scheduled team members are present and prepared to deliver adequate service to guests throughout shift.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds.
· Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
· Must be able to stand or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift (range from 8-12 hours).
· Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
**Housing may be available.
