We are seeking an experienced Equipment Technician to join our team. As an Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns
- Fabricate and weld parts as needed
- Solder electrical connections
- Operate power tools and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections
- Collaborate with team members to improve equipment performance and efficiency
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Equipment Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Proficient in using power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Experience with cranes, tractor-trailers, or similar heavy machinery is preferred
- Familiarity with OEM guidelines and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
