We're looking for positive and enthusiastic people from all backgrounds and levels of experience to fill a variety of roles to lead summer activities for children in the diverse community we serve. From youth camps and sports to community events and outreach programs, this is a great opportunity for someone looking for their first job - no experience required! Team Members work June through August and have flexible daytime and evening hours with some weekend opportunities.
Work anywhere from 12 to 36 hours per week. Required staff training begins June 10 - 13, and summer camp programs run June 17 - August 16.

Programs include Summer in the Park, Level Up, Youth Sports Camps, Preschool Camps, Camp Rahn, Nature and Farm Camps, and Community Outreach & Events.

Interviews will take place during the following times:
Monday, April 1st and Tuesday, April 2nd from 300pm to 500pm
Wednesday April 3rd from 500pm to 700pm
Saturday, April 6th in the morning
Essential Position Functions
In this job you will:
  • Work with the Team Lead to carry out summer activities for children and youth
  • Work with all kids to promote learning and fun in safe environment
  • Assist in the the set up and take down of program materials and equipment
  • Answer questions and provide information to parents, camp partners, and members of the public
  • Follow work direction and keep supervisor informed of any concerns
  • Administer basic first aid as needed - training provided!
  • Other duties as assigned

While no experience is needed for this job, you may be a great fit if you have:
  • One (1) or more years of experience working or volunteering with children and youth. Examples could include babysitting, VBS teacher or volunteer, youth sports coach, etc.
  • Participated in activities, sports, clubs, or other groups
  • CPR and First Aid Certifications
  • Completed concussion training -Training is available on-line at
  • Availability to work a variety of hours throughout the summer months
