The Video Production Intern will assist and be exposed to various roles in the Video Production area including shooting, camera work, editing, and producing focusing on marketing and publishing projects.
Interning at Lifeway
The Lifeway Internship Program is designed to provide college students and recent college graduates a valuable learning experience where they can grow professionally, personally, and spiritually. Our internships offer significantly more than “busy work.” As an intern, you’ll receive professional development and leadership training, exposure to senior leaders, and mentoring relationships with professionals in your field.
Internship Program Details/Requirements
- Lifeway’s Summer Internship program offers a competitive hourly pay rate, all necessary equipment will be provided
- Interns work 32 hours per week on average with Tuesday - Thursday as required core workdays
- Interns must commit to participate in the entirety of the program: June 3 - August 9, 2024 (10 weeks)
- Candidates must be currently enrolled at a college or university in an undergraduate or graduate program, and have fully completed at least two years of study. Recent graduates are eligible if they graduated the semester immediately prior (December 2023 or May 2024 graduates only)
Interns will receive development each week
- Internship applications are due by January 15, we will begin interviews once the applications are closed. Selections are finalized by April 1
This intern will work primarily in the Brentwood, TN area with some at home remote work. Must reside in the Nashville, TN area for the duration of the summer

- Assist with cinematography needs
- According to skill level, assist with video editing drafts
- General production scheduling
- Serve as production assistant on shoots as needed
- Involved with conceptual planning and script development
- Live out Lifeway’s mission and values, showing deep commitment to Kingdom work
- Major Video Production, Cinematography, Film, Theatre, Mass Communications
- Strong writing, communication, and multimedia skills
- Enjoy working with dynamic, cross-functional teams
- Excellent attention to detail
- Video editing, shooting, or Motion Graphics preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Adobe Video Suite preferred
- Within driving distance of Brentwood, TN required
