The CareSource Population Health Intern is responsible for providing support on special projects, initiatives, and specific activities which will vary by assignment. We offer a 11-week, paid Summer Internship program for college students who want to separate themselves from the pack. This is an exciting opportunity to obtain real-world experience and prepare yourself for your career after college. The program offers:

Essential Functions:
- Specific activities will vary by assignment
- Identify population characteristics and overall profile, identify health needs and health disparities and work with teams through the process of program designs to meet the identified needs.
- Professional development to help further your career
- Perform any other job duties as requested
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Current college / university undergraduate or graduate student in a credited degree program is required
Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Effective listening and critical thinking skills
- Dependable, flexible and ability to maintain confidential information
- Effective problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Compensation Range:
$34,500.00 - $55,100.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level.
