Sourcebooks offers a 10- week PAID, IN-PERSON internship at our Naperville, IL offices in our Legal and Administrative Department. Interns are given the opportunity to get hand-on, intensive exposure, experience, and tools to help you learn about a career in book publishing.
During the Legal and Administrative Internship you will learn about the Legal and Administrative Team and their role at Sourcebooks, Communication between parties, Basics of Contract Writing, Copyright v. Trademark, Learning who’s who in publishing, verbiage and professionalism, the importance of optics and more.
Qualifications:
- Interest in the legal/administrative field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Business Suite programs (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Excellent attention to detail, strong project management and organization skills
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment and possess strong communication skills
- Summer interns will work 20-24 hours per week over Tuesday- Thursday each week on-site in Naperville, Illinois.
- Interns are compensated $15/hour.

- Current college junior, college senior or recent graduate
