Job Description:
In this role, you will primarily work on a research use case, solution and test designs, data and model structures, and demonstrate expertise in analytics techniques to design, prototype, and build solutions.
Additionally, you might be asked to assist team members with analytics tools and methods used in projects are robust and of the highest quality. Create dashboards and drive communication with other stakeholders. Develop best practices for analytics (models, standards, tools)
You will be required to build and demonstrate the following competencies:
MAster's level student or graduating Data Scientist with knowledge of building Promotional Regression Models, and Syndicated Data. This Data Scientist will be responsible for developing statistical algorithms to generate actionable recommendations that will drive disproportionate value to our client’s business. Looking for solid knowledge of both theory and practice of data science. Demonstrated expertise in some or all of the following: probability, statistics, operations research, classification and clustering methods, variable selection, and decision trees, neural networks. Full stack development skills utilizing OpenAI APIs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's or Master's level student in statistics, computer science, mathematics, engineering, operations research, or another quantitative field
- Programming: 2+ years of experience in Python and/or R.
- Databases: 2+ years of database experience using SQL or similar.
- Familiarity with modern data science libraries (OpenAI) and tools, including but not limited to Gurobi, Pulp, Scipy, Scikit-learn, Pandas, Tensorflow, Keras, and similar.
- Experience with visualization software such as Python Dash is a plus.
- Experience with cloud computing services such as ( Azure ML/Databricks) is a plus.
- Communication Skills – Business Writing and Presentation
- Solid knowledge of both theory and practice of data science. Demonstrated expertise in some or all of the following: probability, statistics, operations research, classification and clustering methods, variable selection, and decision trees.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
1. Use analytical models and algorithms, including Machine/Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Multivariate Statistics (e.g., Clustering, Principal Component Analysis, Regression, Hypothesis testing, and Factor Analysis), Optimization, Data Mining, and Simulation; to develop and operationalize proprietary algorithms.
2. Retrieve, cleanse, manipulate, and translate complex data into business solutions.
