SalaryCodemoji presents an immersive in-person coding program set in a Summer Camp environment, aimed at enhancing students' coding skills in a distinctive manner. Our curriculum integrates online learning, hands-on activities, robotics, and circuit boards. We are currently seeking instructors to deliver our after-school coding curriculum to elementary and/or middle school students. Codemoji supplies all essential materials and lesson plans, and no previous coding expertise is necessary. Ideal candidates should possess a minimum of two years of teaching experience, focusing on best practices, fostering strong relationships with students and parents, and adhering to punctuality. The instructor will require a laptop for each session, given the digital nature of a significant portion of our curriculum. Students will have individual computers, and proficiency in navigating Google and addressing WiFi issues is crucial.
Scheduled program dates are as follows:
June 17th - 21st: 9 am - 12 pm; 1 pm - 4 pm
June 24th - 28th: 9 am - 12 pm; 1 pm - 4 pm
As a Codemoji Instructor, your responsibilities will include:
Arriving before each program session and remaining until all students are picked up or school protocols are fulfilled.
Successfully passing a background check.
Reviewing lesson plans, testing robots/circuit boards, and previewing Google Slides before each program session. Our Curriculum Designer will be available upon request for any questions related to implementing lesson plans and will provide onboarding before your initial program session.
Creating a safe and enjoyable space for students, establishing positive relationships within the school community.
Adhering to school guidelines and protocols.
Clearance by HR is required, involving a background check, among other processes.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
