Location for Summer Camp will be at Kent Island Elementary at 110 Elementary Way, Stevensville MD

Schedule: Monday-Friday 12pm-5pm. Starts June 24 through August 2. The staff member will also have the opportunity to continue availability in the fall, but will need to work at any site that has availability in Queen Anne County, MD.

Pay & Benefits:

• $19.50/hour

As an AlphaBEST Captain, you'll be trained to do the following:

• Lead a fun and dedicated team of Guides that deliver excitement to our student Explorers in fitness, the arts, technology, and more!
• Work collaboratively with peers and the Leadership Team to manage all aspects of the program site.
• Train AlphaBEST Guides on how to lead adventurous tasks that ignite children's sense of wonder.
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by establishing clubs that build on students' interests and talents.
• Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, parent, and school relationships are fostered at your program site.

Here's what you'll need:

• Must have HS diploma, In addition 6 semester, 90 clock hours of approved pre-service training OR approved as a teacher by MSDE for early childhood education, including nursery. And 1 year experience working directly with children in an approved setting( registered child care home, licensed child care center, nursery, school, church or similar setting)
• Must be at least 21years old
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations
• Provide proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing standards
