We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support and implementing behavior plans for individuals with autism or other behavioral health needs. ```Duties```
- Implement individualized care plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Provide direct one-on-one behavioral therapy to clients
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with the development of new behavior management strategies
- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure consistency in implementing behavior plans
- Support clients in developing social, communication, and daily living skills
- Ability to have fun on the job!
```Experience```
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or behavioral health needs
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Familiarity with special education practices and strategies
- Strong data collection and documentation skills
- Ability to effectively manage challenging behaviors while maintaining a positive and supportive approach
