SUMMER CAMP NURSE SHIFTS
We are looking for LPN or RNs for our Summer Camp. Various shifts available (7a-3p, 3p-11p, 11p-7a)
$25-45 per hour depending on shift/license
We are looking to hire a qualified, fun, dynamic RN/LPN to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work as a camp nurse at a well established camp, as part of an experienced medical team. Our camp medical team is an integral part of our summer program.
DAY SHIFTS usually involve bumps, scrapes, bellyaches and regular med administration. Our evening shifts have fewer nurse calls, however we require an evening nurse to assist with any medical concerns that may arise after lights out, and to help with administrative tasks to help the daytime nurse (health alerts, review incoming health forms, etc.)
Our Camp Nurses work under the guidance of a local physician who supervises our healthcare policies, provides guidance is an on-call resource.
Duties include
Creating camper health alerts for program staff to work with
Administer Rapid Testing for COVID-19 as needed according to current CDC guidelines
Provide first aid to campers and staff if needed during the evening hours
Administer medications to campers* as needed during the evening hours *Must possess license/training to do so
Respond to medical emergencies
- Follow up accidents, incidents with reports
- Coordinate doctor/hospital visits for seasonal staff if needed
