Reveal Martial Arts and Summer Camp is looking for Summer Camp Directors to join our team at three of our locations. Perfect position for a teacher that is on a summer break.

The Role:

As our Summer Camp Director, you will be the driving force behind a magical and transformative experience for our campers. This role is about more than just logistics and schedules; it's about creating a community where children feel valued, understood, and excited to explore. You will lead a team of dedicated staff, oversee the development and execution of our camp programs, and ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all campers.

Responsibilities

• The Camp Director will oversee the daily operations of our Southlake camp location and is accountable for the overall management of the program. Specifically, this position is responsible for personnel management, program development and ensuring all safety protocols and camp objectives are being met as well as be hands on with activities throughout the day. In addition, this position will be instrumental in making sure all camp activities are planned and scheduled. This individual will communicate with campers, parents/guardians, on a daily basis.
• TEMPORARY POSITION: beginning mid May through mid August during school summer break but willing to work with your schedule as well. One week break the week of July 4th.
• Conducts camp orientation and training prior to the start of the program
• Utilization of personality and enthusiasm to create a positive and fun environment.
• Supervises and leads other camp coordinators and campers.
• Gives direction to staff in order to accomplish daily camp activities.
• Plans, coordinates, and leads daily activities for youth ages 5-12 years old.
• Ensures the safety of all campers and counselors; ensures safety protocols are being adhered to.
• Must possess the physical ability to lead, participate and oversee all camp activities with campers and staff in all areas of camp facility.
• Must be able to assist campers in an emergency and possess strength and endurance required to maintain constant supervision of campers.
• Addresses crisis management, discipline and troubleshooting issues related to campers and/or staff.
• Must be able to fill the role of camp counselor or coordinator as needed.
• Interacts professionally and respectfully with the public, coworkers and others in the course of daily work.
• Must maintain regular and timely attendance as well as neat personal appearance 

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma (at least 2 years of college in a related field, like education, is preferred); experience nannying, teaching etc.

• Minimum age of 21.
• Proven experience in a leadership role at a Summer Camp or similar setting, with a track record of creating engaging programs for children.
• A genuine passion for working with children and a strong understanding of child development.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• The ability to problem-solve, adapt, and think on your feet in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certifications like CPR/First Aid are required.

Other:

• Must pass a background check.
• Frequently required to stand, bend, walk, run, stretch, twist, kneel, crouch, push and pull while working with youth.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $20.00 - $25.00/hour.
