These positions are appealing for those interested in careers working with the public, education, psychology, and sociology in particular. We do not limit our selections to these majors, however.
Young adults working as counselors have the opportunity to:

All positions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. First consideration deadline for employment applications is April 1, 2024. Positions will remain open after that date until filled.
Note: You must be 16 years of age by the start of camp to be eligible to apply.
Expectations:
Summer Camp Dates: June 3 - July 26, 2024
Commitment: the ability to work a minimum of 2 weeks (not necessarily consecutive)
Work Hours: 8:15 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. Camp day starts promptly at 8:30 a.m.
Must attend the mandatory staff meeting on May 31, 2024.
Must complete all Summer Camp student safety requirements and child protection licensing requirements, including Introduction to CPR and First Aid.
The hourly salary for this position is $15.69 per hour. Summer Camp Counselors are temporary positions and not eligible for benefits.
