What It's Like:
Data Protection Technologies and Compliance (DPTC) team within Innovative Data Solutions. The DPTC team's Vision is to be T-Mobile's Privacy Champions as we empower, protect and enforce the privacy choices of everyone who uses T-Mobile products and services. Our Mission is to Earn Trust as we treat our customers right by being transparent and giving them practical ways to control how their data is used. We innovate responsibly, and continuously improve our products and processes to safeguard individual privacy as technology evolves.
What You'll Do:
The Products and Platforms in the Privacy Portfolio include such things as Data Subject Rights (DSR), Do Not Sell or Share (DNSS), Kids Data Privacy & Protection (KDPP), Do Not Contact (DNC), Privacy Dashboard (PRIDA), and Sensitive Personal Information/Profiling and Automated Decision Making (SPI/ PAD). These products and platforms allow us to ensure T-Mobile is compliant with Privacy regulations such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule (COPPA), Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CAN-Spam, etc.
The Developer role can work on any of these products in support of product and feature delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop swaggers
- Develop Rest APIs, Micro Services using latest versions of Spring boot (3.x and above) and Java.
- Perform backend API, Database and Kafka integration
- Develops SQLs and work with MySQL database.
- Work with API Gateways like APIGEE
- Perform testing with Junit, Mockito
- Deploy applications and services on Kubernetes, cloud platforms
- JSON, Git, Postman, yaml, Java, docker and K8

Relocation reimbursement may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.
Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on experience/location.

Secondary location is in Bothell, WA
