ROLE OVERVIEW:

If so, our Diversity Business Partner (DBP) Graduate Internship is the perfect opportunity for you! As a DBP Intern, you'll join a dynamic team dedicated to fostering a vibrant and equitable work environment for all employees. You'll gain valuable hands-on experience in the field of DE&I, working alongside experience professionals. You'll contribute to meaningful initiatives and have the opportunity to make a real impact on creating a more equitable and inclusive workspace. In this role, you'll develop research, communication and project management skills and get exposure to different business functions and organizational dynamics.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in developing and implementing DE&I strategies aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Conduct research and analysis on industry best practices and emerging trends in DE&I.
  • Design, present, and pilot an innovative idea to Equality Business Partners that addresses an area of opportunity.
  • Contribute to the creation of educational and awareness-raising DE&I initiatives for employees.
  • Assist with data collection and analysis to create and measure the impact of DE&I programs and strategic initiatives
  • Communicate the impact of DE&I actions to key stakeholders.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and committees focused on advancing diversity and inclusion.
  • Participate and provide project management assistance for DE&I Initiatives
  • Gain exposure to various aspects of full life cycle DE&I work, including talent acquisition, employee relations, leadership
  • Other responsibilities as they arise

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program with a focus on business, human resources, consulting, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion concepts and principles
  • Excellent research, analytical, and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently (virtually and co-located) and as part of a team. Some travel may be expected.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, innovative and results-oriented
  • Excellent written and oral communication, and presentation skills
  • Commitment to creating a more inclusive and equitable workplace

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experienced and proficient with Google suite
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Demonstrates ability to adapt to change in a fast paced environment
  • Exhibits resourcefulness and curiosity
  • Demonstrates Emotional Intelligence and ability to influence
  • Previous internship or work experience in DEIB, HR, or related field is a plus

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $32 to $55.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
