Moravian Academy seeks candidates to join our substitute pool for coverage in our health room.
This opportunity is available immediately and will be used on an as-needed basis.
Administers medications and treatments as ordered.
- Provides care for student and staff illness and accidents.
- Administers care based on individual health care plans and individual emergency care
- Serves as liaison between the home and the school regarding student health concerns.
- Documents all encounters in the Health Record.
- Communicates clearly with all school personnel and resident nurse as needed.
Certification: Current CPR and AED Certification
- Licensure: Current RN or LPN Licensure in Pennsylvania
- Pennsylvania Driver’s License
- Experience working as a nurse or School Nurse preferred
All candidates are required to submit four clearances prior to employment. These include:
1. Criminal Background Check (Act 34)
2. Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
3. FBI Criminal History Record
4. Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release (Act 168)

Compensation
This position is a substitute position and is therefore paid hourly, at the rate of $20 per hour.
