Position: Substitute School Bus Driver
(temporary/hourly assignment)
Salary: $16.59/hour

NATURE OF WORK:
substitute Bus Drivers are responsible for operating a School Bus and transporting students.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive bus runs as assigned, in-county or out-of-county;
- Drive field trips as needed;
- Drive for emergency situations as needed; and
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a certified Bus Driver for St. Mary's County Public Schools;
- Possess a current commercial driver's license, Class B with passenger and air brakes endorsement;
- Satisfactorily pass a Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration physical examination; and
- Must meet all federal, state, and local laws and requirements for operating a School Bus.

SALARY GRADE RANGE: $16.59/hourly
BARGAINING UNIT ELIGIBILITY: Not eligible.
