Position: Substitute School Bus Driver
(temporary/hourly assignment)
Salary: $16.59/hour

NATURE OF WORK:
substitute Bus Drivers are responsible for operating a School Bus and transporting students.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive bus runs as assigned, in-county or out-of-county;
• Drive field trips as needed;
• Drive for emergency situations as needed; and
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a certified Bus Driver for St. Mary's County Public Schools;
• Possess a current commercial driver's license, Class B with passenger and air brakes endorsement;
• Satisfactorily pass a Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration physical examination; and
• Must meet all federal, state, and local laws and requirements for operating a School Bus.

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:
Temporary/Hourly Assignment
SALARY GRADE RANGE: $16.59/hourly
BARGAINING UNIT ELIGIBILITY: Not eligible.
