Position Summary:
Orange Recovery is a transitional residence for men 18 years of age and older who are in the early stages of Substance Use recovery. We provide a lightly structured, drug-free environment. This supportive environment is maintained through 24-hour staffing and case management services.

Position Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day operation of the recovery house program.
- Provide for safety, security, and maintenance needs, of program participants.
- Contribute to the creation of a positive residential milieu in collaboration with participants and house staff.
- Write clear and objective shift notes and any other record keeping that may be assigned.
- Maintain medication log on residents.
- Grocery shopping for residents, menu planning, and inventory on food and household items.
- Weekly maintenance safety checks.
- Regularly perform substance abuse screening on residents.
- Assisting with filing and preparing intake packets.
- Other programmatic tasks as assigned by the Program Director / House Manager.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED required.
- Valid drivers license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
- Experience working with health/substance abuse population.
- Ability to handle confidential information and understand, empathize, and work with a substance abusing and addicted population.
- Basic computer skills.
- Background screening / CORI.
