Substance Abuse Counselor (Therapist) Php

We are looking for a full-time Counselor to join our team working with our PHP patients!
For over 66 years, Starlite Recovery Center has been providing adult clients in the heart of the Hill Country in Center Point, Texas, with caring and highly effective drug rehab for Substance Abuse, alcohol addiction, and co-occurring issues. Starlite Recovery Center is located in the Hill Country, approximately 20 minutes southeast of Kerrville, and approximately 30 minutes northwest of Boerne, Texas.
This position will be working with PHP patients in New Braunfels.

We are looking for a dedicated, professional clinician who exemplifies the highest level of clinical acumen.
Essential Functions of Position:

• Provide group and individual counseling for our intensive outpatient program.
• Provide crisis intervention to clients as needed.
• Responsible for initial assessments and timely documentation.
• Conduct individual counseling sessions and/or group or family sessions as scheduled and document as required.
• Carry a caseload of clients in the intensive outpatient program.
  
  • Proficient with Zoom video software for telehealth appointments.
• Provide case management duties for client, ensuring individualized quality care.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

SCHEDULE:

• This position is full-time

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• Master's degree from accredited college or university preferred
• Experience in counseling field instruction/internship or similar practicum through education or certification process.
• Familiarity with Chemical Dependency, Dual Diagnosis, 12 Step Program, Smart Recovery, Crisis Intervention, CBT/REBT, DBT/Mindfulness.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• COVID vaccine or approved religious/medical exemption per CMS Vaccine Mandate.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
Must have one of the following and licensed in the state of Texas.

• LCDC or LCDCI
• LPC or LPC Associate
• LMFT or LMFT Associate
• LCSW or LMSW
