Overview:
As a Subcontractor Liaison, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining effective communication and relationships with our subcontractors. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that subcontractors are effectively managing our sites, addressing any client concerns promptly, allocating new accounts to subcontractors while ensuring profitability, fostering strong rapport with subcontractors, and expanding our subcontractor network as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communication and Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for subcontractors, maintaining regular communication to ensure alignment with company standards and client expectations.
- Cultivate strong relationships with subcontractors through regular check-ins, feedback sessions, and problem-solving discussions.
- Client Issue Resolution:
- Address any client concerns or issues related to subcontractor performance promptly and effectively.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and subcontractors to facilitate smooth resolution of any disputes or challenges.
- Allocation of New Accounts:
- Assess new account requirements and determine the appropriate subcontractor to assign based on capabilities, availability, and profitability.
- Negotiate rates with subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining profitability for the company.
- Rapport Building:
- Proactively engage with subcontractors to build rapport and foster a positive working relationship.
- Recognize and acknowledge exceptional performance by subcontractors to encourage continued high-quality service.
- Subcontractor Network Expansion:
- Conduct research and due diligence to identify potential new subcontractors in areas where current coverage is insufficient.
- Establish relationships with new subcontractors and onboard them into our network, ensuring they meet our standards and requirements.
- Performance Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Monitor subcontractor performance through regular site inspections, client feedback, and performance metrics.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to subcontractors to help them improve their performance and service quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in contractor or subcontractor management
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
