Stylist/Sales Associate

The Role

You will be front-and-center and the face of the FREEBIRD brand when you join us in creating a customer experience like no other. Our Flock of fun-loving, highly-focused individuals takes great pride in selling extraordinary, hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind leather goods. You will be the example of style, hard work, positive energy and dedication to the success of the team. You will also educate and inspire customers about the meaning and vision of the FREEBIRD brand. We’re determined to transform what the customer experience is all about through superior, highly personal customer service. As the newest member of our Flock, you will do it all while getting to wear the most exclusive, stylish leather boots in town!

Responsibilities

• Emulate great style and offer style inspiration on a consistent basis
• Talk about current fashions trends as applicable to our customers
• Create genuine connections with every customer and employee
• Make every customer interaction memorable and unique to their individual needs
• Build brand and store loyalty through providing exceptional customer experience
• Partner with supervisor and peers to maintain best practices and build effective relationships with store team
• Clearly and positively communicate with supervisor and seek feedback to improve personal performance
• Learn and know the product line to effectively teach and guide customers in their selections
• Contribute to overall store and individual sales goals
• Perform daily sales floor upkeep and operational expectations
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and visually appealing store
• Understand and master all general register functionalities

Requirements

• High school diploma or prior retail or restaurant experience required
• Ability to work nights and weekends; 15 hours a week time commitment required
• Genuine passion and enthusiasm for the Freebird brand
• Approach all job duties with a positive and uplifting attitude, taking on any task big or small
• Flourish in a competitive team environment
• Ability to multitask and switch gears
