As a reflection of our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Marketing team as a Studio Director, Videographer/Editor.

We are looking for an experienced and versatile videographer and editor to join our in-house Marketing team as part of the Enterprise Creative Center of Excellence. We are expanding our capabilities and standing up a new studio function in our Chicago office. As the Studio Director and lead Videographer/Editor, you will be responsible for capturing video and developing engaging content in addition to helping us build-out and run the studio. You will manage multiple projects, while working hand in hand with our Creative and Marketing teams. Projects will relate to any of our TAG brands (Aspen Dental, Motto, WellNow Urgent Care, Chapter Aesthetic Studio and Clear Choice) and you will be asked to bring compelling ideas to the table as well as working within established brand guidelines. From corporate communications to newsroom b-roll, on-brand mission videos to thumb-stopping social content - a successful candidate will be a “jack-of-all trades” able to problem solve and think creatively to create effective content within budget and on tight deadlines.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Capture, edit and deliver high quality, original, engaging video content for a variety of uses.
  • The maintenance and organization of the studio space and equipment
  • Shoot still photography (people, products, etc.)
  • Execute pre- and post-production processes (plan, shoot, edit, design motion graphic based elements, organize and tag assets)
  • Ability to make interviewees feel comfortable in front of the camera to capture authentic content.
  • Consult with stakeholders from pre-production through final approval/output.
  • Coordinate video shoots including developing and capturing shot list, setting up, operating, and maintaining in-house equipment.
  • Ensure logical sequencing, pacing, input music, balance audio, color correct, develop graphics and effects, insert subtitles, etc.
  • Coordinate with outside video/photo crews and agencies to maximize shoot efficiency and generate effective content for a variety of channels.
  • Serve as a catch-all editor for various video projects.
  • All other video, photo and production related duties as needed.
  • Advising senior leadership on best practices and proactive opportunities to leverage and improve our content generation function for internal and external audiences.
  • Coordinate with our Denver studio to maximize impact and drive capabilities across the enterprise.
  • Set and follow workflows, data management, media management and ingestion into DAM tool.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in hands-on photography, videography, video editing, motion graphics, color correction, interviewing and content creation.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere and After Effects), Final Cut or similar video editing software
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects, and meeting aggressive timelines.
  • Ability to travel as needed on location shoots.
  • Experience in lighting, capturing and editing green screen video.
  • Portfolio of prior work demonstrating expertise in video and photo capture, and video editing
  • Experience with problem-solving, troubleshooting and effective cross-functional communication

Compensation: $130,900 - $154,000 DOE + bonus 25%
