Position Purpose:
The Maintenance Technician role oversees, maintains, and repairs equipment at The Home Depot’s Commercial Photography/Videography studio. The building is large, over 200,000 square feet, with 5 functioning studios, a warehouse with a shipping/receiving dock, office spaces, a kitchen, laundry room, greenhouse, and a carpentry and paint shop. The Maintenance Technician maintains day-to-day plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems within all of these spaces, as well as performing custodial services as needed. The Maintenance Technician must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include weekends, nights, and holidays as needs arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- 10% - Collaboration - Collaborate with business partners to define strategy and objectives using creative thinking to self-solve problems and recommendations that elevate final deliverables.
- 10% - Continuous Improvement & Quality Assurance - Drive excellence, best practices and consistent execution of project work; improve quality by studying, evaluating and improving methods used.
- 55% - Production - Ensure work is consistent with brand standards. Ensure the smooth running of workflow and adherence to correct process, while keeping all teams informed and up-to-date and ensuring that deadlines are met.
- 25% - Safety - Ensures site and studio safety standards and compliance, cleanliness and organization.

Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in the same position or standing/walking or there is some requirement to lift or handle material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).
Working Conditions:
- Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes that cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States

Training in electrical, via apprenticing, on-job training or technical school
Basic understanding of plumbing and mechanical systems
