Job Description
The Studio Art Assistant will supervise open studio times in the Ceramics/3D Design studio. This includes opening and closing the studio space at the designated times, checking Art students in and out of the studio, supervise Art students to maintain safe studio practices, and maintain studio organization and cleanliness.
Prior Studio Art experience, especially in Ceramics or 3D Design, is preferred. Applicants may be currently enrolled in Ceramics or 3D Design. However, the Studio Art Assistant’s work hours should be focused on studio supervision, not on completing the Student Worker’s own projects or coursework.

Must be able to work the following days of the week - Must be available to work Mondays, Wednesdays, and/or Fridays. Specific hours are flexible between 8:00am and 5:00pm. Open studio hours will be scheduled based on worker availability., Flexible
Physical Demands
- Able to lift and move objects and materials up to 50 lbs.
- Able to carry out basic studio cleaning tasks, including sweeping, wiping work surfaces, etc.
