JCMG's Radiology department is looking for two (2) part-time student techs to work rotating every Saturday and Sunday 9:00-2:00.
Full-time positions are eligible for full benefits, including insurance, 148 PTO hours per year, 56 hours of paid Holidays per year including the day after Thanksgiving, and an Employee Retirement Plan (401K) with employer match. Tuition reimbursement and a grow our own Medical Assistant Program.
Student Tech- Radiology Department
Hours- Every other Saturday- Sunday 9:00-2:00
Perform general radiographic examinations (i.e., not special procedures) according to departmental protocols.
Operates radiographic equipment and successfully performs radiographic procedures by selecting proper technical factors and proper positioning of each patient and exam.
Demonstrates knowledge and ability to assist with checking patient into the Radiology Department for testing.
Maintains a safe environment.
Correctly uses facility communication systems.
Satisfactory completion of at least one (1) year of formal radiologic technology training in AMA approved school which meets requirements for registry by the ARRT is necessary
BLS required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology in order to perform radiography testing
Knowledge of imaging equipment
Good verbal skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to use computerized information systems
Skill in establishing and maintaining good working relationships
