Pinon Unified School District is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Student Support Facilitator to join our team. As a Student Support Facilitator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic and social-emotional growth of students.
In collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families, you will provide individualized support to students who may be facing challenges in their education. Your role will involve assessing student needs, developing intervention plans, and implementing strategies to help students succeed.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-on-one and group support to students with academic and behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement intervention plans
- Monitor and assess student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between students, teachers, and families
- Provide guidance and support to students in developing effective study and organizational skills
- Implement behavior management strategies and reinforce positive behavior
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and interventions
- Participate in meetings and professional development activities
Requirements
- Associate degree, or 60 college credit, and the ability to pass a Parapro test
- Experience working with students in an educational or counseling setting
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with students and families
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment
