Pay Grade/Pay Range: $44,200 - $66,300 (Salaried E6)

Department/Organization: 209317 - Early College

Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm; some evenings & weekends

Job Summary: The Student Success Coach is responsible for supporting students who are enrolled courses fall, spring, and summer for a supportive learning community.

Additional Department Summary: The Student Success Coach works with online and on-campus UA Early College students throughout the academic year by providing academic and college coaching support. Implements systems and processes to address Student Success and retention to enhance the online and on-campus student learning experience. Works collaboratively with University faculty on a regular basis for academic performance updates. Works closely with UA Early College student achievement staff including academic advisors and an assistant director.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of experience.

Skills and Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills. Ability to relate incredibly well with high school students, parents, and educators. Ability to work with different cultures and groups of people. Ability to be a self-starter and independent worker.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with high school students. Experience in successful student retention initiatives, academic Success Coaching, or academic interventions in a higher education or K-12 environment. Experience with Blackboard Learn.
