Student Services Specialist

United Aviate Academy (UAA) is a wholly owned subsidiary of United Airlines and a part of United’s Aviate program. We provide flight training to prepare students for a safe and successful career as a pilot. Our students are our lifeline, and we need a team of Brand Ambassadors to help guide and support our students during their training program. The Brand Ambassadors will play a key role in supporting the academy’s mission and growth. We are committed to our core4 values in all we do: safe, caring, dependable, and efficient.

As a Brand Ambassador, you will be responsible for creating and nurturing brand awareness while actively working with students for successful training outcomes and recruiting future students. The role includes supporting the emotional and professional growth of students, developing and monitoring support programs, and providing educational and professional guidance. This multifaceted role requires a motivated individual with excellent communication skills, the ability to motivate and build a rapport with people, and to convey the Academy’s vision, mission, and core4 values.

Duties/Responsibilities

Brand Promotion:

· Collaboration and creation of engaging content with the Marketing and Communications team for various social media platforms to highlight our academy, students, and brand identity

· Organize and participate in promotional events, conferences, school presentations, and activities to attract potential students, advocates, and community partners

· Develop and maintain relationships with affinity groups and close partner organizations

Recruitment:

· Identify and attract potential students, promote exposure to underrepresented groups for recruitment, and work closely with brand ambassadors and advocates who align with our brand values and goals

· Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to develop recruitment strategies and marketing materials

· Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate potential new students

United Aviate Academy and Aviate Knowledge:

· Possess in-depth knowledge of our academy and the Aviate program to effectively communicate features and benefits to potential students while actively engaging with the Aviate team, vendors, and students to provide recommendations and drive new curated ways to promote longevity in the programs

· A keen understanding of the Aviate partnerships and aviation opportunities for next-step discussions with students

· Collaborate with the leadership team to exceed recruiting and graduation objectives

Reporting and Feedback:

· Provide regular updates on brand promotion, recruitment efforts, and student performance via trend analysis

· Gather and analyze feedback from affinity groups, brand advocates, and recruits to help improve our partnerships and marketing strategies

· Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the brand ambassador program

Student Support:

· Meet with students monthly on academic progress and program success

· Support the planning and execution of academy events, such as seminars or workshops, and hosting on-campus and off-campus events

· Collaborate with the academy services team on various tasks and projects as needed

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position requires can complete all of the essential functions and physical requirements of the job.

This position is located in a campus environment which requires frequent visits to multiple buildings, including dorms.

Must be able to walk frequently for various responsibilities and task associated with student engagements.

Frequently moves items weighing up to 50 pounds across the office for various Student Services needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
