Student Service Advisor
This is the perfect position for the individual who thrives on student relationships and attention to detail. This role demands self-motivation, follow-through on details, trustworthiness, and willingness to learn new procedures. The Student Service Advisor position at NIMA is involved in a broad range of administrative duties such as: establishing and maintaining attendance and academic records for students, assisting in tracking placement for students, and facilitating students with their financial aid in a timely manner. We are looking for someone that is organized, persistent, reliable, proactive, and task-oriented. The Student Services Advisor must maintain extensive knowledge of NIMA policies and procedures, and be able to interpret and apply them to support faculty and students. The specific responsibilities of the Student Services Advisor:
- Assist enrolled students with financial aid questions
- Work with our 3rd party servicer to complete students financial aid
- Audit student files
- Assist with yearly audits and NACCAS reporting
- Manage daily SAP reporting
- Manage daily processing of student hours
The requirements for a successful Student Services Advisor:
- Personality is absolutely critical; you must be outgoing, friendly, good with people, upbeat, and positive.

- Detailed; you must be organized, structured, and good at following procedures.

What you don't need to have, but would be helpful:
- Previous financial aid experience
- Computer skills are highly recommended
- Google Doc knowledge
Compensation:
- Hourly starting pay will depend on experience plus commission and bonuses
