Preferred Education/Experience:High School Diploma or GED. At least one year related experience required.
Hours per Week:Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 1:00pm-6:00pm. First and third Friday of the month, 12:00pm- 5:00pm. Second and fourth Saturday of the month, 12:00pm-5:00pm. Position may require occasional changes in schedule.
Job Summary:As a Part-time Experiential Learning Associate I, a typical day may include the following…
- Assists in the day-to-day responsibilities of the Experiential Learning spaces.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment in our Experiential Learning spaces.
- Provide exceptional customer service by instructing and assisting customers with software and equipment.
- Organize and oversee the use of supplies, tools and materials used in Experiential Learning spaces.
- Implement and facilitate hands-on programming for makers of all ages.
- Collaborate with supervisor to enhance programs.
- Maintain interdepartmental relationships and seek new ways for these spaces to serve as a resource to other library departments.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Excellent digital literacy skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
