Responsible for set-up or breakdown ofspecific spaces.
Room set-ups are completed according to thereservation specifications.
Provide clients with the final physical set-upsand technical detail for their programs and activities.
Report any changes in a set up to the BuildingSupervisor on duty.
Maintenance and operation of equipment.
Ensure that all equipment is in a fullyoperational condition at all times and report any problems to the BuildingSupervisor
Maintain neat, orderly, and safe storage areasreturning all equipment to the appropriate storage area when not in use.
Alert Operations Specialist as to the need toorder/replace specific equipment or supplies.
Assist in semester inventory, repair and cleaningof SUB furnishings and equipment.
Walk around the SUB and remove any inappropriatelyposted material from walls, pillars, doors, windows, etc.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties asassigned.
Administrative Responsibilities.
Attend and participate in all scheduled workshopsand in-service training opportunities.
Report to work in a neat orderly fashion, on atimely basis and with proper Student Union attire.
Open and close the SUB in a timely fashion.
Document and report all maintenance, safety andstaff problems to the Operations Specialist.
Record all pertinent events and situationsoccurring while on shift in the Supervisor's daily report. Provide enoughfactual data to enable professional staff to follow up the next working day.
Tour the facility on a continual basis to documentproblems encountered in the building.
Upon arrival to the SUB, thoroughly review theprograms, catering and meetings scheduled for the day and ask for clarificationwhen necessary.
Ensure the timely and accurate completion of theEvents Tech setup. Perform routine audits to ensure appropriate set-updetails are provided for the client.
Understand and be able to use all student centerequipment including all audiovisual and sound system equipment.
Responsible for scheduling in accordance with buildingevents and other shifts as assigned.
Security-Work closely with the UNM police tomaintain a safe environment.
Position requires cross training & generalsupport functions as indicated.
Other duties as assigned.
