Physical Requirements:Sitting at computer workstation for extended periods; bending, twisting, pulling; repetitive motion using a keyboard.
Shift:Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. Occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
Job Summary:The College of Social Work (CoSW) is accepting applications for a Field Coordinator (Student Affairs Officer III).
As a Field Coordinator, a typical day may include the following:
- Partner with members of the Student Support Teams to respond to field related questions from students.
- Communicate with students and community agencies about the status Handle initial field related questions from prospective students in tandem with Student Services Coordinators
- Work with students to plan for field placement activities, to include helping students to find agencies at which to complete their field practicums
- Collaborate to host monthly field education info sessions for students and agencies
- Provide information updates for field orientations
- Manage processes for approving agencies as field practicum sites

Preferred Education/Experience:Master’s Degree plus four or more years of experience working in higher education and/or social services preferred.
Experience with field education may be ideal.
